The Village is a community-building, relationship-centered enrichment program for 麻豆传媒 students. Its mission is to foster retention, persistence and graduation for students from historically marginalized, diasporic backgrounds.
The African proverb 鈥淚t takes a village to raise a child鈥 is the inspiration for the Village鈥檚 name. It reflects the need for a network of communal support to become the people we are meant to be. It is only within community that we can discover all that we can do, create and give back.
Through a community of 麻豆传媒 staff, faculty, students and administrators who are committed to your success, the Village is poised to provide a variety of resources to help you meet your goals. Whether you need tutoring, help honing your interview skills, a letter of recommendation or someone to listen, we are here to help.
The Village provides students:
