Tim Bowman

Bowman is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Studies. He has over 15 years of experience examining aspects of social interaction, impression management, the academic reward system, and scholarly communication in online environments, of which he has also widely published in international journals with over 60 academic publications and over 30 conference presentations. More specifically, his current research focuses on applying information, computational, social, psychological, linguistic, and philosophical theories and methods to the study of artificial intelligence and its impact on scholarly communication, higher education, the academic reward system, and the presentation of self in online contexts.
